Winter/Spring Activity Guide Now Available

Wilsonville Parks and Recreation offers a variety of programs, classes and activities for all ages. Participants can register online at the Parks and Recreation website or in-person at the Community Center or Parks and Recreation Admin Building starting Monday, December 11. Register before Jan. 1 to receive 10% off class registration!

For youth and families, there are many new activities to choose from this winter, such as Cascadia Disaster Heroes and Wild Survival Spring Break.  Returning favorites include Soccer Shots, Ice Skating, Fit Girls and Yoga Calm, just to name a few.

For adults, the department's wellness offerings have expanded to include two new early morning fitness classes: STRONG, a high-intensity interval training workout by Zumba, and Country Dance Fitness, a high-energy, low-impact, country dance-inspired fitness program.  Daytime offerings include favorites like Healthy Bones and Balance, Nia, Yoga, and Tai Chi.  New daytime offerings include Body Sculpt and Pilates Sculpt, as well as an Indoor Walk and Fit program - a free opportunity to enjoy a warm, dry place to walk this winter.  Wilsonville Thrive! also returns with a new Lunch and Learn program where participants will embark on a collaborative journey through Brene Brown's book, "The Gifts of Imperfection".  Feed your creativity by trying your hand at watercolor or acrylic painting, or a variety of knitting classes.  There are also a number of adult evening and weekend offerings, including Body Sculpt, Pilates Sculpt, Zumba, Dance Cardio Fitness, and a variety of yoga classes.

View the activity guide online for the full list of course offerings.  Paper copies of the activity guide will arrive in Wilsonville mailboxes Dec. 16.

Winter/Spring special events include the Daddy Daughter Dance on March 2nd at the Community Center, the annual Wilsonville Egg Hunt on March 31st at Memorial Park, and WERK Day on May 12th.
