This upper portion of Memorial Park provides a transition between the densely developed urban areas near Wilsonville Road and the wooded character of lower Memorial Park.  Located near Wilsonville’s library, this section of the park incorporates a combination of features including an amphitheater, reservable Grove Shelter, reservable Splash Shelter, renovated play areas, reservable historic barn and interactive water feature.

The Murase Plaza Playground was renovated in the Spring of 2015.  The playground now has two new play structures and a 24-foot-long embankment slide.  A large percentage of the new structure is totally inclusive for use by persons with physical and developmental disabilities.

Please Note: the Murase Plaza north restrooms (located next to the Splash Shelter) are closed mid-October through mid-April every year.  The restrooms by the playground remain open year-round.

The following are prohibited in City parks: inflatables (including bounce houses), dunk tanks, water balloons, water slides, egg toss, and open flames (except for barbeque grills).  Barbeque grills may be brought into park facilities but must be gas-powered and must be placed on concrete/asphalt.  Barbeque grills are not provided in City parks.
