Tauchman House
The Tauchman House is a turn of the century house along the Willamette River and set in the midst of the trees of Boones Ferry Park. It is used for a variety of city-sponsored and other non-profit youth programs, and is available to be rented for private functions.
There is a main room (15'x29'), side room (9'x16') and kitchen (13'x15'). The kitchen is equipped with refrigerator, microwave, cooktop and ample counter space. Eight tables (60"x30") and forty chairs are also included. The venue now has WiFi.
The Tauchman House is ideal for small parties or receptions under 40 guests. Perfect for bridal showers, baby showers and other small gatherings!
The following are prohibited in City parks:
- inflatables (including bounce houses)
- dunk tanks
- water balloons
- water slides
- egg toss
- open flames (except for barbeque grills)
- Barbeque grills may be brought into park facilities but must be gas-powered and must be placed on concrete/asphalt. Barbeque grills are not provided in City parks.
