Overview

The City of Wilsonville offers community garden plots to its residents. The garden has 134 in-ground plots, 21 raised beds, on-site water, a compost area, and is protected by a deer fence. The Community Garden is located in Memorial Park

Plots are no longer being tilled and there is a one plot limit per household.

The Wilsonville Community Garden Rules and Guidelines document is available as a PDF at the bottom of this page.

2025 Sign-Ups

Gardeners who had a plot in 2024 will have first right of refusal for their plot in 2025. Current gardeners will receive an email to renew their current plot on January 13, 2025. They will have until January 24, 2025 to renew their plot either in person or online. Plots that are not renewed will go up for available registration, on a first come, first serve basis, for new gardeners on Tuesday, February 18. If you have questions about this process, please email Recreation Coordinator, Erica Behler at behler@ci.wilsonville.or.us

Service Hour Requirement

The Wilsonville Community Garden is a shared space, meant to be cared for by all of the gardeners who have registered for a plot each year. Effective in 2024, all gardeners will be required to contribute and log four (4) hours in service to the Community Garden outside of their own plot. Our hope is that this group effort will keep our shared space in good shape, help prevent weeds from overwhelming the garden, and help build community.

The Wilsonville Community Garden Service Hour Form is available as a PDF at the bottom of this page. This document includes answers to a number of frequently asked questions.

WAITLIST

There has been a growing interest in the Wilsonville Community Garden over the past few years. Effective in 2024, we will maintain a waitlist of interested gardeners once all plots are filled. If new plots open up during the season, we will offer that plot to folks on the waitlist (in the order their request was received). This waitlist will be available through our online registration system.
