River Shelter

The River Shelter at Memorial Park sits in the SW corner of the park, near the Willamette River and ball field number five. This is the largest covered shelter in the park. It is necessary to reserve the River Shelter during peak season, which runs from the second weekend in April through the second weekend in October of each year. - Please Note: The River Shelter restrooms are closed in the off-season (mid-October through mid-April). The restrooms by the playground and ball fields remain open year-round.

Shelter rental applications are accepted according to the following schedule:

March 3, 2025: Government/Schools
March 10, 2025: Wilsonville Residents (including non-profits)
March 17, 2025: Non-residents (including non-profits)

Pricing

Restrictions

The following are prohibited:

inflatables (including bounce houses)
dunk tanks
water balloons
water slides
egg toss
and open flames (except for barbeque grills)
The River Shelter fireplace has been closed and fires are prohibited. Barbeque grills may be brought into park facilities but must be gas-powered and must be placed on concrete/asphalt. Barbeque grills are not provided in Wilsonville parks.
