Join us for the Korean War Armistice Day Ceremony. Commemorate the signing of the armistice to end the fighting of the Korean War and the 70th anniversary of the alliance between the U.S. and Republic of Korea. Followed by the Grand Opening of the Oregon Korean War Interpretive Center.

- View military equipment on display, including a a howitzer and an M35 Series 2.5 ton 6X6 Cargo Truck (aka “Deuce-and-a-half” from the Korean War (from Veteran Leonard Bernhardt’s collection).
- Nine Korean War veterans will be awarded the Korean Ambassador for Peace medal.
- Take a preview tour of the Oregon Korean War Memorial Interpretive Center and view photos of Oregon veterans, stories of their experiences in Korea, panels on our War Heroes and on Korea Today.
- Confirmed speakers for the event are Consul General Seo of the Korean Consulate; Oregon Department of Veterans Affairs Director, Kelly Fitzpatrick; Korean War Veterans Chuck Lusardi; KSO President Heon Soo Kim; Oregon State Senator James Manning, and a Special Guest.
