Library reduces hours starting Nov. 18
Following public health guidance from the Oregon Health Authority, the Governor’s office, and Wilsonville’s Emergency Operations Center (EOC), the library will adopt the following new safety measures to protect visitors and Library staff starting Wednesday, November 18:
- Reduced Open Hours. The library will be open on a revised schedule:
- Tuesday, Thursday-Saturday: 11am-3pm
- Wednesday: 3pm-7pm
- Sunday and Monday: closed to public
- Curbside Service. If you are unable to come into our building to pick up holds, we offer curbside pick-up of holds on Wednesdays from 11am-1pm. Call us at 503-682-2744, to schedule a contactless pick-up time. Alternatively, library users can come to the library during open hours and ask at the door for staff to bring their holds to them.
- Reduced Capacity. No more than 20 people, including staff, can be in the library at any time. We are happy to see you - briefly! – and ask that you complete your errand quickly and exit the building so others may visit. We are happy to provide assistance to help expedite your visit.
The following safety measures continue to remain in place:
- Masks. Facial coverings are required and must be worn all times while in the library, except for children under the age of five.
- Physical Distancing. Library staff will maintain a physical distance of six feet or more from visitors. We ask that you do the same. Let’s stay apart, together.
- Quarantined Items. Following national library guidelines on the handling of materials, Clackamas County libraries are quarantining all returned items for a 24-hour period before they are restocked and made available for checkout.
- Continuous Cleaning. Library surfaces and equipment are being disinfected by staff throughout the day.
- Hand Sanitizer Station. Please sanitize your hands when entering the Library and try to minimize the number of items you touch.
- Service Desk Shields. We are using acrylic barriers at each of our service desks.
*Staff wearing PPE: Staff are wearing masks when handling library materials to minimize points of contact with books and other items.
Available Services
At this time, we are only offering a limited number of services. As time goes on and we can safely introduce additional services, we will.

Please Remember
We’re all figuring this out together! Thank you for your cooperation, and remember that kindness and patience create a safe environment for all. If there’s something you don’t understand, or that isn’t working, let us know.
Minimizing contact with others is helping everyone. Let’s continue to keep our community safe from the threat of COVID-19 by isolating, physical distancing and washing and sanitizing your hands frequently.
Return your Library items outside. Use the outside book drop or the drive-thru drop.
Don’t worry about fines at this time. Clackamas County libraries have raised fine limits and will be collecting fines at a later date. You should still be able to check out items if money is owed.
Use our self-checkout machines. There are three machines available for you to use. Unfortunately, our staff are not able to provide date stamps.
We’re here, and happy to help. Questions or concerns? Please let us know (in person, by phone, or by email). We will do our best to accommodate your needs.
