Vaccine Resources

vaccine being given

Since the availability of COVID vaccines began in late January, a variety of  online tools have popped up to help you find out whether you are eligible for a vaccine, and if you are, where to get your shot. Below are links to a couple of those tools.

If you are uncomfortable or unsure about using the internet resources below to make a vaccine appointment, you can also call 211 from any telephone and a person will be happy to verify your eligibility and make an appointment for you, if possible, at a local vaccine distribution point.

Websites:

Get Vaccinated Oregon ( https://getvaccinated.oregon.gov)

By means of a questionnaire, this website will help you determine whether you are eligible to receive a vaccine. You can set up an email notification for yourself to be informed when you do become eligible. You cannot make a vaccine appointment using this website, although it will point you to websites where you will be able to make an appointment.

How to find a COVID-19 Vaccine in Oregon (https://govstatus.egov.com/find-covid-19-vaccine)

This website is a good jumping off point to obtain a vaccine appointment, once you have determined that you are eligible to receive one. The website has good information about what to expect during and after your vaccination, and it also contains links to various websites of both government and private agencies (such as pharmacies) where you can actually make appointments. If you do not succeed in finding a free appointment slot, please keep checking back.

Wilsonville Library Reference staff is available during our open hours to help you navigate various websites and explain processes that may be confusing. Please note that library staff cannot make vaccine appointments for you.
