It’s never too early (or too late!) to learn to ride a bicycle. It’s easy, it’s fun, it’s a skill that will last a lifetime, and it's good for the environment.

SMART's Learn-to-Ride Bike Clinics are for kids, teens, and adults who have never ridden a bike before or who are returning to cycling after an extended period.

The bike clinics provide an effective, low-stress way to learn balance, steering, pedaling, and controlled stopping/braking which produces independence and confidence. Participants learn to ride in a non-traffic environment and receive safety education and support to encourage biking to school and around Wilsonville.

Clinics are limited to five students at a time.
Each adult may register no more than two students (must be at least 5 years old).
The presence of an adult with a registered child is required.
Clinics are held at the Wilsonville Transit Center and/or Wilsonville schools (children do not need to be a student of that school).
Participants must bring a fitted helmet and properly sized bike with pedals and training wheels removed.
Participants should be able to sit on the seat with their feet flat on the ground.
The cost to attend a clinic is FREE.

*NEW! Parent(s)/Guardian(s) who want to learn to ride a bike alongside their student(s) are welcome to do so. Register yourself when you register your student(s)!
