Civil Rights Policy - Title VI
South Metro Area Regional Transit (SMART) is committed to ensuring that no person is excluded from participation in, or denied the benefits of its service on the basis of race, color or national origin as provided under Title VI of the Civil Rights Act.
Title VI protects members of the public from discrimination because of their race, color, or national origin in any program or activity carried out by SMART. Any person who believes they have been subjected to an unlawful discriminatory practice under Title VI may file a complaint with SMART. You may fill out a complaint form in person or email us.
