Rider Statistics
SMART alternates each year between a demographic survey and a satisfaction survey to better understand our riders and their experience. The consistent findings show that SMART route service continues to receive high marks across the board. The full survey results are found in the files listed below.

In 2025, when asked for their highest priority, 30% of our riders asked for service on Sundays, while 18% asked for service to new destinations.
When asked if passengers would recommend SMART to family and friends, 99.5% reported yes.
85% of passengers reported they are happy with the cleanliness of our buses and bus stops.
72% of passengers reported it is convenient and easy to ride.
