Program of Projects
Each year, along with the City’s annual budget, SMART staff compiles potential projects that utilize federal funding for the upcoming fiscal year (July 1 – June 30). The list of projects and associated costs is known as the Program of Projects, or POP.
Members of the public have opportunities to comment on these projects at meetings in May (Budget Committee) and June (City Council) of each year. Any changes based on those public meetings will be incorporated into a final version at the budget adoption in June. If no public comments are received at or prior to the City’s annual budget adoption date, the proposed Program of Projects becomes final.
