2025 State of the City

Each year, Wilsonville's Mayor delivers a “State of the City” address recognizing the prior year's accomplishments and milestones and outlining  a few objectives and challenges expected in the coming year.

During the May 5, 2025, Wilsonville City Council meeting, Mayor Shawn O'Neil delivered his first State of the City address.  The speech underlined his desire to continue to build a City where every resident feels welcome and included. He discussed recent progress, aspirations, and the challenge of identifying funding for critical infrastructure for implementation of the Town Center Plan and replacement of the I-5 Boone Bridge amidst an uncertain climate of tariffs, supply chain interruptions, and the retirement of many long-time City employees.
