Council Actions + Other News
December 4, 2023: The City Council authorized the City Manager to Execute Guaranteed Maximum Price (GMP) Amendment No. 3 to the Progressive Design-Build Agreement for the Boeckman Road Corridor Project with Tapani|Sundt, a Joint Venture.
July 17, 2023: The City Council authorized the City Manager to Execute Guaranteed Maximum Price (GMP) Amendment No. 2 to the Progressive Design-Build Agreement for the Boeckman Road Corridor Project with Tapani-Sundt, a Joint Venture.
February 23, 2023: The City Council authorized Guaranteed Maximum Price Amendment No. 1 (GMP 1) to the Agreement with Tapani-Sundt, a Joint Venture.
September 19, 2022: The Wilsonville City Council authorized the City Manager to amend a professional services agreement with MurraySmith, Inc., providing $2 million to fund owner’s representative services for the Boeckman Road Corridor Improvement Projects, including engineering design review, independent cost estimating, construction management, administration, public engagement, and inspection.
June 6, 2022: The Council approved a $4.8 million agreement with Tapani | Sundt A Joint Venture to advance the Boeckman Road Corridor Improvement Program. This suite of capital projects, which includes construction of a bridge to minimize the Boeckman dip, is being developed via Progressive Design Build to ensure fewer disruptions and increase cost efficiency. Work is scheduled to begin this summer.
Nov. 1, 2021: After soliciting proposals in September 2021 from qualified consultants experienced in providing professional engineering services, the City Wilsonville selected Murraysmith. The contract was approved by City Council at the Nov. 1 meeting.
Aug. 2, 2021: The Wilsonville City Council authorized the City’s use of an alternative contracting method to contract the Boeckman Road Corridor Project. The use of Progressive Design Build (PDB) contracting provides better coordination and collaboration on the Boeckman Dip Bridge project and three interconnected projects along the Boeckman Road corridor.
April 19, 2021: The Wilsonville City Council approved a preferred approach for the “Boeckman Dip” project to mitigate the steep slopes for travelers on Boeckman Rd. between Canyon Creek Rd. and Stafford Rd. The Council approved the staff’s recommendation of a $20.7 million plan to build a bridge that removes the dip to increase safety and connectivity, improve emergency response and limit environmental and wildlife impacts.
