Kristin Akervall
Elected in 2016, and re-elected in 2020, Kristin Akervall serves the Wilsonville community with pride and gratitude.
Akervall believes in the importance of public involvement in local government as a foundation for a thriving community. She sees respectful dialogue and equitable systems as key to realizing our full potential.
Prior to being elected to City Council, Akervall served on the West Linn-Wilsonville School District’s budget committee (2013-2016) and also served on the City of Wilsonville’s Development Review Board. She graduated from the City’s Civics Academy in 2015.
Akervall received her BA (Anthropology) from Willamette University and MS (Business Analytics) and CAS (Data Science) from Syracuse University. She works in data analytics, visualization, and assessment and enjoys bringing people together to share in information discovery.
A Wilsonville resident since 2009, she and her husband are parents of a young daughter, who attends Wilsonville public schools.
