Open Utility Account
A Utility Service Agreement Form is required to apply for utility service at your new address.
Please complete the correct form from the list below:
- Residential
- Non-Residential (Multifamily, Commercial, Industrial)
- Meter Installation Request (Purchase Meter from the Building Department prior to this request)
Close utility account
Use this Stop Service Form to close your utility account. The water meter will be read within two business days of your requested stop date or receipt of your request, whichever is later. The final bill will be prorated based on the closing date.
Move Service
The City does not move or transfer service. You will need to Open a new account and Close the prior account. The City realizes that there may be an overlap of services. The completed form dates do not need to be same.
Temporary Stop Service
If you are leaving your property on a temporary basis, the City can turn the water services off per your request. This process will prevent water leaks while you are away. The Utility Billing Department must be notified 72 hours prior to stopping or restoring services. There is a $35.00 fee for this service and it does not stop the account from incurring monthly fees. To request this service complete the Stop Service Form. Check the option "temporary shut off" at the top of the form. When you are ready to have it restored, call the Utility Billing Department at 503-570-1610 for scheduling.
After Hours Restore
A fee of $185 will be charged for non-emergency restores placed after 3:30 p.m. regular business days, weekends and holidays. Disconnections for non-payment will not be restored until the following business day.
